Vols

About

A brasserie with a face

Vols was born from one belief: a good brasserie does not need a show. Good ingredients, prepared honestly, served in a room where you feel at home.

Daniel's story

Daniel's story

Owner Daniel grew up with French-Italian cooking and chose to bring that signature to the heart of Vaals. Before Vols, this address on Prins Willem Alexanderplein was home to the well-known Grand Café Zera. Daniel took over the building and chose a new name, a new menu and a focus on craft.

What stayed the same: the spot on the square, the generous terrace and the openness to anyone who walks in for a good glass, a light lunch or a long dinner.

Our three rules

01

Fresh over fast

Sauces, dressings and pasta are made in our own kitchen. What you taste was prepared yesterday or today.

02

Everyone is welcome

A quick coffee, a meeting, a birthday dinner or a family lunch: it all fits at Vols.

03

Personal contact

Daniel knows many guests by name. New here? He will gladly introduce himself.

The building on the square

Vols sits in the heart of Vaals, on Prins Willem Alexanderplein. A historic central square, a generous terrace for summer afternoons and evening sun, and just five minutes' walk from the Belgian border and the old town of Aachen.
